La Rosiere, France - Ski resort linked with La Thuile in Italy.

La Rosiere

Straddling the boarder between France and Italy, the Espace San Bernardo offers a great mixture of cosmopolitan skiing and apres-skiing. Member of the "P'tits Montagnards" club which groups together the resorts specially adapted for children, La Rosiere also offers a large choice of apres ski activities and entertaining nights to spend with family and friends.

On The Mountain

A lot of sunshine skiing on the French side of the mountain with the trip into Italy a great place to find good snow later on, and great pasta!. It is the only resort in the Tarentaise to offer and international ski area of 150 km pisted runs thanks to the link to La Thuile in the Aosta valley : "LESPACE SAN BERNARDO". The flavours and great value of Italian food for a well earned lunch or the magic of heliskiing will make you enjoy the thrills of skiing without borders.

On The Town

La Rosière has a very friendly feel to it and the town is compact enough to wonder about on foot without any problems. There is a new section to the village with it's own bars and restaurants and access to the pistes called Les Eucherts, and new developments happening in the centre of town, with a new residence and hotel being built for this winter.

APRES SKI: Good selection of french and savoyard restaurants, try Les Marmottes for a really delicious meal.
OTHER ACTIVITIES: Paragliding, snow-mobiling, snow-shoe, ice-rink, ice-diving beneath the lake, off-piste guiding, ice-driving, cinema, sports hall.
